Zoltán Papp

Managing director, lead tutor

I founded Scotwork Hungary in 1996, where I have been working as managing director, consultant and lead tutor. I have started my career at Pepsi Co. Hungary as a training manager few years before joining Scotwork. I have trained almost 4000 participants and get them familiar with the Scotwork negotiation structure and assigned practical skills and techniques. My main achievement so far is that Scotwork became a quality brand in the Hungarian market and one of the most well-known and respected training courses in the country. I have further extended Scotwork network to South-Eastern Europe in 2007. I regularly run Scotwork Negotiation Skill trainings in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria. Besides running courses in Hungary it is always a great pleasure to travel to any of the SEE countries and run courses in English to multicultural participants coming from a diverse background from the region My passion is travelling, I love aviation and love to learn and read about technology developments about flying. My biggest negotiating challenge nowadays is with my 2 year old Maltese dog, to whom I have a hard time to resist and not to give in.

Zsolt Mayer

Associate tutor

I joined Scotwork Hungary's team in 2014 as consultant and tutor. Since than I had the privilege to run more than 60 courses in Hungarian and English and trained more than 600 participants. On the course I also share many of my 20+ years of business negotiation learnings and experiences. Besides teaching the course I am also doing sales and digital marketing activities for Scotwork Hungary.

Negotiating has always been a key part of my business career. I worked for Mars Hungary for 22 years in various management positions such as Sales, HR and during the last 12 years as Corporate Affairs Director. My most memorable negotiation was in Brussels with one of the Hungarian MEPs who at that time told me I was the best prepared negotiator he has ever negotiated with.

My life philosophy can’t be better described than a Confucius quote, “Choose a job you like and you never have to work”. My main out of office activities are the balanced combination of some energetic sports and relaxing yoga exercises.
